Description

Delightful crispy-on-the-outside, cheesy-on-the-inside corn fritters perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup corn kernels
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the corn, flour, cheese, milk, egg, baking powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  3. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. Remove fritters and drain on paper towels. Serve hot as a snack or appetizer.
