- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and let rest for a few minutes.
- In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and garlic; sauté for about 1 minute.
- Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing to coat in the buttery garlic sauce.
- Slice the chicken and serve it on top of the noodles, garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
Make sure not to overcook the chicken to keep it juicy. Feel free to add vegetables like peas or spinach to the noodle mixture for extra nutrition. Adjust the amount of garlic to your taste.
