Description

A simple yet delicious meat dish that is quick to prepare and perfect for family dinners or hosting guests.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (or your choice of meat)
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes (canned or fresh)
  • 1 cup bell peppers (chopped)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a splash of olive oil.
  2. Add chopped onions and minced garlic. Sauté until the onions are translucent.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook until it’s browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
  4. Stir in the diced tomatoes and bell peppers. Mix well.
  5. Add salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 10 more minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  6. If desired, sprinkle shredded cheese on top and let it melt before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
