Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef (or your choice of meat)
- 1 cup chopped onions
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup diced tomatoes (canned or fresh)
- 1 cup bell peppers (chopped)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add a splash of olive oil.
- Add chopped onions and minced garlic. Sauté until the onions are translucent.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook until it’s browned, breaking it apart with a spoon.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes and bell peppers. Mix well.
- Add salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 10 more minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- If desired, sprinkle shredded cheese on top and let it melt before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
