Description

Creamy Lemon Truffles are a delightful treat combining the tangy flavor of lemon with the sweetness of chocolate. Perfect for any occasion, they offer a refreshing burst of flavor.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Zest
  • 8 oz White Chocolate
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Nuts or Coconut Flakes (Optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, soften the cream cheese. Mix in powdered sugar, fresh lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Melt white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or over a double boiler. Let cool slightly before adding to the lemon mixture and stir well.
  3. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes until firm enough to handle.
  4. Scoop small portions and roll them into balls. Optionally, roll in chopped nuts or coconut flakes.
  5. Place truffles on a parchment-lined tray and set in the fridge for another hour.

Notes

Serve chilled for the best flavor. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week, or freeze separated with parchment paper for longer storage.
