Description

These crispy baked chicken wings are full of flavor, easy to prepare, and perfect for game days, parties, or weeknight dinners. With a simple dry rub and oven baking method, you’ll get golden, crunchy wings—no deep-frying needed!

  • 2 lbs chicken wings (drumettes and flats)

  • 1 tbsp baking powder (aluminum-free)

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • ½ tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Optional: hot sauce, BBQ sauce, or ranch for servin


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top. Lightly grease the rack.

  2. Pat chicken wings completely dry with paper towels. Moisture will prevent crispiness.

  3. In a large bowl, toss wings with baking powder and all seasonings. Drizzle with olive oil and toss again until evenly coated.

  4. Arrange wings on the wire rack in a single layer, skin side up.

  5. Bake for 20 minutes, flip, then bake an additional 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  6. Let rest for 5 minutes, then serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

  • Make sure wings are dry before baking for maximum crispiness.
