Description
A 5-minute hormone-balancing raw carrot salad designed by Dr. Ray Peat to sweep estrogen and endotoxins from the gut. Simple, crunchy, and perfect for daily hormone and digestion support.
Ingredients
1 large raw carrot (peeled)
1 teaspoon coconut oil (or extra virgin olive oil)
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice)
Pinch of sea salt (optional)
Instructions
Peel and finely grate or shave the carrot into ribbons.
In a bowl, add coconut oil and vinegar to the grated carrot.
Toss well until fully coated.
Add sea salt to taste and serve immediately.
Notes
Eat on an empty stomach for optimal estrogen-clearing effect.
Do not replace the oil with PUFA-rich oils (like canola or soybean).
Store grated carrots separately if meal-prepping; mix just before eating.
Use daily or 3–5x a week for best results.
