- 36 Oreo Cookies (or gluten-free Oreos)
- 8 oz Cream Cheese (full-fat recommended)
- 12 oz White Chocolate (or milk/dark chocolate)
- Sprinkles or Edible Eyes (optional for decoration)
Instructions
- Crush the Cookies: Place 36 Oreo cookies in a zip-top bag and crush into fine crumbs using a rolling pin or food processor.
- Mix the Cream Cheese: In a bowl, combine crushed Oreo cookies and cream cheese until smooth.
- Form the Balls: Roll small amounts of the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Chill the Balls: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- Melt the Chocolate: Melt white chocolate in a bowl in short bursts, stirring until smooth.
- Coat the Balls: Dip each ball into melted chocolate and lift out, letting excess chocolate drip off.
- Add Decorations: Place back on the baking sheet and sprinkle with edible decorations while the chocolate is still wet.
- Let Them Set: Allow chocolate to set at room temperature or refrigerate until hardened.
Notes
For easier dipping, allow chocolate to cool slightly. Kids can help with crushing, rolling, and decorating!
