Description

Delicious and easy side dish of sweet and buttery glazed carrots that brighten up any meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb baby carrots
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the baby carrots, melted butter, brown sugar, honey, salt, and pepper.
  3. Toss until carrots are well coated.
  4. Spread the carrots out in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until tender and caramelized, stirring halfway through.
  6. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

For an extra touch of flavor, you can add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg. If you like a bit of crunch, roast the carrots for a shorter time until they are tender but still crisp.
