Description
Delicious chocolate chip cookies stuffed with Halloween Oreo cookies and topped with festive sprinkles, perfect for the spooky season.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1/2 cup butter (slightly softened)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cup flour
- 3 tbsp corn starch
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (more for topping)
- 9 Halloween Oreo cookies
- 1/4 cup Halloween sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silpat mat.
- In a medium bowl, cream the butter and both sugars together until smooth.
- Add the vanilla and egg to the mixture, mixing well until everything is combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients (flour, corn starch, baking soda, and salt) to the wet mix. Stir just until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and Halloween sprinkles.
- Using a large cookie scoop (about 1/4 cup), scoop out the cookie dough. Flatten it in your hand and place a Halloween Oreo in the center. Fold the dough over the Oreo and roll it to seal.
- Place the cookie dough balls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes. They will continue to bake as they cool.
- As soon as they come out of the oven, top with extra chocolate chips. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
