Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 recommended for juiciness)

  • 1 tsp salt

  • ½ tsp black pepper

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp onion powder

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • Optional: 1 egg (for extra binding), ¼ cup breadcrumbs (if pan-frying)


Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, gently combine ground beef, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce.

  • Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into ¾-inch thick patties.

  • Press a small dent into the center of each patty with your thumb (to prevent puffing).

  • Grill or pan-fry over medium-high heat for about 4–5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.

  • Let rest for 2–3 minutes before serving.

 

  • Serve on toasted buns with your favorite toppings and condiments.

  • Avoid over-mixing the beef—this keeps the patties tender.
