- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup mayonnaise (or plain Greek yogurt for a lighter version)
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: ½ teaspoon paprika or Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness, about ¾ inch thick.
- In a medium bowl, mix mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Spread the mixture evenly on top of each chicken breast.
- Place the coated chicken in the baking dish. Sprinkle optional paprika or Italian seasoning on top if desired.
- Bake uncovered for 35–45 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, consider using fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary. Broil for a few minutes at the end for a crispy top.
