Easy and delightful caramel apple pie bombs that combine classic apple pie flavors with gooey caramel, perfect for any occasion.

- 2 apples, peeled and finely chopped
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 8 pieces caramel candy
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- Cinnamon sugar (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter over medium heat.
- Add the chopped apples, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Cook for about 5 minutes or until the apples are slightly softened. Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Open the biscuit dough and separate it into individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit slightly with your hands.
- Place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each biscuit. Top it with a piece of caramel candy.
- Fold the biscuit dough over the filling and pinch it closed to form a ball. Make sure it’s sealed well.
- Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow them to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with extra caramel sauce or a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
