Description

Easy and delightful caramel apple pie bombs that combine classic apple pie flavors with gooey caramel, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 apples, peeled and finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 8 pieces caramel candy
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • Cinnamon sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the chopped apples, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of salt. Cook for about 5 minutes or until the apples are slightly softened. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  4. Open the biscuit dough and separate it into individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit slightly with your hands.
  5. Place a spoonful of the apple mixture in the center of each biscuit. Top it with a piece of caramel candy.
  6. Fold the biscuit dough over the filling and pinch it closed to form a ball. Make sure it’s sealed well.
  7. Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar if desired.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Allow them to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with extra caramel sauce or a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
