Ingredients
1 cup brewed green tea (cooled)
1 inch fresh ginger (grated)
1 lemon (juiced and zested)
1 tbsp raw honey
1 tsp apple cider vinegar (with “the mother”)
Pinch of turmeric
Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)
½ cup coconut water
1 tsp açaí powder (optional)
2 cups filtered water
Instructions
Brew green tea and allow it to cool completely.
Add grated ginger to the tea and let it steep for 10 minutes. Strain if preferred.
In a large jar or shaker, mix lemon juice, zest, honey, apple cider vinegar, turmeric, cayenne, coconut water, and açaí powder.
Add the cooled tea and remaining water. Shake or stir thoroughly.
Serve over ice or at room temperature. Garnish with a lemon slice if desired.
Notes
Drink in the morning on an empty stomach or mid-afternoon as a clean energy boost.
You may substitute honey with stevia or maple syrup for a lower-carb version.
Store in the fridge up to 24 hours. Shake before drinking.
