Crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, these Oven Fried Feta Rolls with Chili Honey offer a perfect balance of heat and sweetness, ideal for parties or a savory snack.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz Feta cheese
  • 6 sheets Phyllo pastry
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1 tsp Chili flakes
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Crumble feta cheese into a bowl and mix with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Lay out a sheet of phyllo pastry, brush with olive oil, and place another sheet on top.
  4. Add a spoonful of the feta mixture at one end and roll tightly.
  5. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  7. In a small saucepan, heat honey and chili flakes until warm.
  8. Drizzle the chili honey over the baked feta rolls and serve warm.

Notes

Work quickly with phyllo pastry to prevent drying out. You can customize the filling by adding herbs or other vegetables.
