A cheesy, beefy twist on classic meatloaf, this Philly Cheesesteak version brings bold flavors and comfort to your dinner table.

- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- ½ cup milk
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 8 slices provolone cheese (4 for filling, 4 for topping)
- Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté diced bell pepper and onion for 5 minutes until softened. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Press half of the meat mixture into the bottom of a loaf pan.
- Layer 4 slices of provolone cheese over the meat. Add sautéed peppers and onions on top.
- Cover with the remaining meat mixture and press to seal the edges.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes. In the last 5 minutes of baking, place remaining provolone slices on top and return to oven until melted.
- Let rest 5–10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
