- 1 lb sausage
- 1 package (30 oz) frozen hash browns
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
- 12 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned.
- In a large bowl, mix the cooked sausage, hash browns, cheese, onion, bell pepper, eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the casserole is set and golden brown on top.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
You can make this casserole ahead of time. Serve warm with fresh fruit or toast.
