Description

A delicious and hearty dish perfect for breakfast or brunch, combining sausage, hash browns, and cheese.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb sausage
  • 1 package (30 oz) frozen hash browns
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 12 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the cooked sausage, hash browns, cheese, onion, bell pepper, eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the casserole is set and golden brown on top.
  6. Let it cool slightly before serving.

Notes

You can make this casserole ahead of time. Serve warm with fresh fruit or toast.
