Description
These easy Garlic Rosemary Focaccia Muffins are soft, fluffy, and infused with aromatic garlic and rosemary. Perfect as a snack, side dish, or dipped in olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (7 g) instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ¾ cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (plus extra for topping)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried)
- Flaky sea salt, for sprinkling
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the warm water with sugar and yeast. Let it rest for 5–10 minutes until it becomes foamy.
- Add flour, salt, olive oil, minced garlic, and chopped rosemary. Mix until a dough forms. Knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover it, and let it rise for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
- Grease a muffin tin with olive oil. Punch down the dough and divide it into 8–10 pieces. Place each piece into a muffin cup.
- Cover the tin loosely and let the dough rise again for about 20 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Drizzle the muffin tops with olive oil, sprinkle with flaky sea salt and a bit more rosemary. Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Enjoy them warm, either plain or dipped in olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
