Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk, peppermint extract, and softened butter. Mix until smooth.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing until a dough forms.
- Divide the dough into portions and add food coloring to each, if desired.
- Roll the dough into small balls or shape it into discs.
- If using, coat with additional powdered sugar for sparkle.
- Allow the mints to dry on parchment paper for at least 1 hour.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or in the freezer for up to 2 months.
Notes
