Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Peel and slice the sweet potatoes into thin rounds.
- In a greased baking dish, layer the sweet potatoes and cranberries.
- In a separate bowl, mix the heavy cream with salt and pepper, then pour it over the layered sweet potatoes and cranberries.
- Sprinkle the shredded Gruyère cheese on top and add breadcrumbs for a crunchy layer.
- Dot with butter.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes or until the sweet potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
