- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups caramel candies
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon milk (for melting chocolate)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture.
- Roll dough into balls and place them on a lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
- Allow cooling slightly before adding caramel.
- Melt the caramel candies with a tablespoon of milk until smooth.
- Drizzle or spread the melted caramel over each cookie, then top with chocolate chips.
- Let cool completely before serving.
