- 1 lb Brussels sprouts
- 4 slices cured meat, chopped
- 1/2 cup pecans
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries
- 1/4 cup balsamic glaze
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Trim and halve the Brussels sprouts.
- In a bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Spread the Brussels sprouts on a baking sheet and add chopped cured meat on top.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until Brussels sprouts are tender and cured meat is crispy.
- Remove from oven and stir in pecans and cranberries.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
Notes
For a vegetarian option, substitute cured meat with smoked paprika. Experiment with different types of cured meat or add cheese before serving.
