- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, and melted butter.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Pour 1/4 cup of the pancake batter onto the skillet.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown. Repeat with remaining batter.
- Serve warm with spiced syrup.
Notes
Don’t overmix your batter—lumps are okay. Add chocolate chips, cranberries, or chopped nuts for extra flair. Use spiced syrup made with maple syrup and warm spices for the perfect topping.
